isDA ON THE GO Picks Up Momentum. The expansion initiatives for the isDA ON THE GO, the PFDA's flagship Corporate Social Responsibility project, is now picking its momentum with the recent ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority and the Provincial Government of Sorsogon, February 9.

The isDA ON THE GO in Sorsogon is the farthest location established outside Metro Manila to date. 

Upon full implementation of the project expansion, the program is set to reach selected areas of Visayas and Mindanao. 

Hon. Francis "Chiz" Escudero, Governor of the Province of Sorsogon, and Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan, PFDA General Manager, led the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement.

Private partners also attended and joined the MOA signing such as Mr. Roderick Santos, Fishingmongers, Inc.; Mr. Francisco Laurel, Frabelle Fishing Corp.; and Mr. Paulo Valera, Concord Canning and Fishing Corp. 

Meanwhile, Mayor Eduardo Lozano of Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon, represented the project recipients. 

Prior to the signing, the Bulan Fish Port Complex led by Port Manager Carlos E. Hagosojos, and the CSR Team from the Operations Services Department (OSD), organized an orientation activity for the identified recipients of the project.

Last February 5, the PFDA also launched isDA ON THE GO outlet in Fisher Mall - Malabon.
