Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) Top Management led by Acting General Manager (GM) Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan inspected the ongoing rehabilitation project at the PFDA – Iloilo Fish Port Complex (PFDA-IFPC) on June 14, 2023.

During the inspection, the visiting team was joined by Iloilo City District Representative Hon. Julienne "Jam-Jam" Baronda. They assessed the current state of improvement and development in the port.

As of May 2023, the ongoing rehabilitation in the PFDA-IFPC has already reached an 84.56% completion rate.

The PFDA Top Management also met with Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas to discuss potential projects for the development of the port. They also discussed various programs of the city for the improvement of the fisheries sector.

GM Pangapalan expressed his gratitude to the Iloilo City Government for their continued support of the PFDA-IFPC.

PFDA Assistant General Manager Ms. Iris R. De Vera, Atty. Fatima Dennise Briones-Mejica, PFDA-IFPC Officer-in-Charge Ms. Jovy M. Garrido, and other staff and personnel from the port were present during the visit.
