Some 344 employees from the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC) and Central Office received their first and second doses of COVID-19 booster shots during a two-day vaccination drive at the PFDA Gender and Development Center on August 5 and 19, 2022.
The PFDA-NFPC partnered with the Navotas City Health Office to conduct the two-day COVID-19 booster vaccination initiatives. Aside from PFDA employees who are part of the A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (people with comorbidities) priority group, the vaccination drive was also directed to those who are part of the A4 (economic frontliners) priority group.
On August 5, a total of 182 people received their first and second booster shots, while a total of 162 people received their first and second booster shots on August 19.
Among those who received their COVID-19 booster shots were PFDA-NFPC port clients and utility and security personnel.
The PFDA-NFPC expressed their utmost appreciation to Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco, Dr. Christia Padolina and Dr. Yeng Felipe of the Navotas City Health Office, and all the health workers and volunteers during the two-day activity for making this vaccination drive possible.
