The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) joins in the celebration of World Food Day 2021 with the theme "Our actions are our future - Better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life" on October 15, 2021.

As one of the leading organizations in the Philippines promoting food security and zero hunger through various post-processing services, the agency has participated in this global food celebration, in line with the 76th founding anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

The PFDA firmly believes that this annual celebration marks the tenacity and resilience of the fisheries sector in delivering high-quality and affordable fish supply all over the country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
