Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – General Santos Fish Port Complex (PFDA-GSFPC) welcomed the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), led by Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, as part of the OLTAMA Development Alliance Cross-Visit to General Santos City, held on August 27, 2021.
The MinDA is Mindanao’s lead agency in coordinating and integrating development efforts that bring about accelerated socio-economic development of the region with active and extensive participation of all sectors.
The purpose of the visit is to conduct proper benchmarking activities to enhance and strengthen the capacity of the OLTAMA Development Alliance as part of resource inventory and policy development in aid of facilitation of programs and projects, particularly in agriculture and fishery products.
Aside from Secretary Piñol, the visiting team included mayors, vice mayors, and other officials of OLTAMA (Olutanga, Talusan and Mabuhay) in Zamboaga Sibugay led by Vice Governor Rey Olegario.
Staff and personnel from the PFDA-GSPFC Office of the Port Manager and Market Operations Division were part of the welcoming committee for the esteemed guests.
