PFDA Public Advisory 01-2025: Impersonation of Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Mr. Francisco “Kiko” P. Tiu Laurel, Jr.

In line with the recent Public Advisory from the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) advises all personnel, clients, and stakeholders to remain vigilant against fraudulent messages circulating through social media and messaging platforms. 

It has come to our attention that a PFDA personnel recently received a message through Viber from an individual falsely claiming to be DA Secretary Mr. Francisco “Kiko” P. Tiu Laurel, Jr., requesting for money.
