Philippine Fisheries Development Authority - Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), distributed livelihood packages under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), also known as Kabuhayan Program at the Modern Market, PFDA-NFPC on May 14, 2025.
Under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program’s (DILEEP) contribution to inclusive growth through job creation and poverty reduction, the DILP grants assistance on livelihood for disadvantaged workers either for individuals or groups. It aims to help beneficiaries establish sustainable businesses that generate income comparable to minimum wage earners, particularly following natural disasters, calamities, or economic crises.
PFDA-NFPC Port Manager Ms. Luz P. Ortiz initiated the distribution program by welcoming the 14 chosen beneficiaries and DOLE representatives. Afterwards, DOLE CAMANAVA Director Ms. Rowella V. Grande discussed the DILP. One beneficiary received the carinderia package and thirteen beneficiaries received the bigasan package.
