Philippine Fisheries Development Authority - Davao Fish Port Complex (PFDA-DFPC) attended the inauguration of the new office building of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office (RFO) XI at the Regional Government Complex, Bago Oshiro, Tugbok District, Davao City, on January 23, 2025. 

Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary, Hon. Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. graced the event. He noted the geographical significance of the newly inaugurated office in supporting cooperatives and farming communities. 

“This new building’s close proximity to our major agricultural areas will enable us to deliver services more efficiently, respond to the needs of our farmers promptly, and implement programs more effectively,” the DA Secretary said. 

PFDA-DFPC Port Manager Engr. Albert P. Aguinaldo and Admin. and Finance Services Division Chief Ms. Marife F. Borja attended the event and witnessed the ceremonial turnover of agricultural supplies to farmer cooperatives and associations in the Davao Region.

DA Undersecretary for High-Value Crops Ms. Cheryl Marie Natividad-Caballero, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) XI Director Juby B. Cordon, and DA XI Regional Executive Director Mr. Macario D. Gonzaga were also present in the event together with various DA-attached agencies, DA personnel, and farmer cooperatives.
