PFDA Agency News 08052024 PFDA inks MOA with Libas LGU revitalized fish port soon to rise

 

Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), led by Acting General Manager Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Libas, Roxas City, headed by Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas, signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the rehabilitation and improvement of the Libas Fish Port, on August 2, 2024, at the PFDA Central Office, Diliman, Quezon City. 

Before the signing, GM Pangapalan congratulated Libas Mayor Dadivas for the realization of this project. He is thankful for the continuing partnership that the PFDA and the Libas-LGU have built throughout the years. 

On the other hand, Libas Mayor Dadidas committed to working with PFDA for the success of the improvement project. The mayor also showed his gratitude for making this project possible, which will surely improve the lives of the people in Libas and further enrich the fishing industry of Roxas City. 

Roxas City in the province of Capiz is also known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines, boasting a wide array of mouthwatering seafood delicacies and abundant marine life produce.
