Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA)’s isDA ON THE GO (iOTG) Program joined President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.’s KADIWA ng Pangulo (KNP) as part of the Office of the President (OP) Family Day celebration, at the Kalayaan Grounds, Malacañang Palace Compound, Manila City on December 2 to 3, 2023. 

Led by the PFDA – Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC) isDA ON THE GO (iOTG) Project Team, approximately 200 kilograms of various fresh-frozen fish, 60 packs of tinapa, and 20 packs of marinated bangus were sold during the two-day caravan. 

The KADIWA ng Pangulo (KNP) is an inter-agency collaboration that aims to alleviate the financial burden of the Christmas season while embodying the spirit of generosity and community outreach and providing Filipinos with access to quality and affordable agricultural products, necessities, and prime commodities. This project also gives farmers, fisherfolks, and micro-, small-, and medium-enterprises (MSMEs) rent-free venues to sell their produce and increase their income. 

President Marcos personally visited the KNP stalls and engaged with the local farmers and beneficiaries. Around 46 groups of local farmers, fisherfolks, MSMEs, and cooperatives across the Philippines selling food and non-food items joined the two-day caravan.
