Embracing gender equality in the workplace. In support of gender sensitivity and equality in the workplace, Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC) has conducted the blessing of the agency’s first-ever Gender and Development (GAD) building on May 11, 2021.

In support of gender sensitivity and equality in the workplace, Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Navotas Fish Port Complex (PFDA-NFPC) has conducted the blessing of the agency’s first-ever Gender and Development (GAD) building on May 11, 2021.

The newly constructed building is the first facility established by the agency for GAD-related events, activities, and programs for its employees, stakeholders, and clients. This development is another step closer towards a more GAD-responsive PFDA.

Representatives from the Office of the Port Manager, NFPC – GAD Technical Working Group, and other port staff witnessed the blessing ceremony of the building.
