As part of the continuous initiatives to engage with various interested parties and stakeholders, the PFDA - Lucena Fish Port Complex (LFPC) recently attended the virtual conference organized by the Department of Agriculture – Regional Management Council, Region IV-A (CALABARZON), September 3.

PFDA-LFPC, represented by Port Manager Custodio L. Balaoing, Jr., also participated in the signing of pledge for “Good Governance and Zero Corruption in the Department of Agriculture”.

Led by Regional Executive Director Arnel V. De Mesa, the activity was organized by the Regional Management Committee as a response to Secretary William D. Dar’s call to the DA workforce to extend service to all the Filipinos with utmost integrity and excellence to achieve a food-secure and resilient Philippines with prosperous farmers and fisher folks.

During the meeting, Director De Mesa also presented DA’s commitments covered by the stimulus package under the “Bayanihan to Recover as One Act” such as the Productivity Enhancement Project, Income Enhancement Project, and Social Protection and Social Amelioration Project.

The stimulus package has a total of P24 billion fund which will be distributed to various DA initiatives such as direct cash loans, assistance for agri-fishery enterprises, support for Plant, Plant, Plant program, and farm-to-market roads.
