Virtual Confab. Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan, PFDA General Manager, presents the process on the establishment of fishery post-harvest facilities like municipal fish ports which is one of the PFDA’s core mandates and updates on the proposed MFPs to the House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources in a virtual conference.

Led by Chairperson Leo Rafael M. Cueva, District Representative - Negros Occidental, 2nd District, the House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resources organized a virtual conference with various relevant agencies to discuss the process and updates on proposed fishery-post harvest projects under the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority, September 3.

Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan, PFDA General Manager, presented the process on the establishment of fishery post-harvest facilities like municipal fish ports which is one of the PFDA’s core mandates and updates on the proposed MFPs.

The virtual conference was also participated by the representatives from various concerned agencies such as the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

According to the House of Representative website, the House Committee on Aquaculture and Fisheries Resourcesleads “all matters directly and principally relating to aquaculture and fisheries production and development, the business of aquaculture, use of aquatic resources, fresh water and fisheries culture research and technology applications, aquaculture and fisheries education and training”.
