Virtual Refresher. After acquiring its ISO 9001:2015 certification last year, the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Quality Management System (QMS) Team ensures and continuously update all personnel on the latest information and tools pertinent to the system.

After acquiring its ISO 9001:2015 certification last year, the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority – Quality Management System (QMS) Team ensures and continuously update all personnel on the latest information and tools pertinent to the system.

The PFDA QMS Documents and Records Control Team led by Mr. Thadeus A. Mariano, also the ITD-CPMISD Chief, recently conducted a virtual re-orientation covering Quality Procedure on Documented Information, July 23, 2020.

The activity was held via Google Meet to maintain proper social distancing and attended by PFDA Records Custodians and Administrative Officers.

The virtual meeting is also part of the preparation for the upcoming activities relevant to Internal Quality Audit and ISO surveillance audit.

According to ISO, documented information are sets of data that is required to be controlled and maintained by the organization and the medium on which it is covered. (Public Information Division with reports from ITD and QMS Team)
