The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) City Fisheries Office was inaugurated on March 1, 2019. The event was attended by the BFAR Regional Director Fatma M. Idris,  PFDA General Manager Atty. Glen A. Pangapalan and PFDA Davao Fish Port Complex Port Manager Engr. Albert P. Aguinaldo.

            The CFO is located inside the Davao Fish Port Complex, whose objective is to cater to the needs and concerns of fishermen and fisherfolk of Davao City. The strategic placement of the facility is expected to expedite transaction between BFAR-CFO and DFPC. (Christine Bisquera.)
