| The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) through its officers and employees joined the 2018 International Coastal Clean Up (ICC) held at the Navotas Fish Port Complex (NFPC) on September 22, 2018. The PFDA’s Regional Ports namely: Davao Fish Port Complex, General Santos Fish Port Complex, Zambaonga Fish Port Complex, Iloilo Fish Port Complex and Lucena Fish Port Complex also participated in the said event. ICC is a yearly activity and is participated by more than 9 million volunteers from more than 100 countries whose objective is to bring environmental awareness, cleanliness and conservation of oceans through the removal of trash/debris from the beach, shorelines, waterways and seas.
